Do you have more questions?
You book our consultancy services such as the introduction consultancy or the training for reporting office managers once. The term for the software is 12 months and is automatically extended by a further 12 months if you do not cancel beforehand. Our Full Service, i.e. the takeover of your reporting office operations by our trained compliance experts, is for 12 months with automatic renewal for further 12 months too. Our sales team will be only too happy to provide you with more information.
By letting konfidal take over your whistleblowing operation for you, you no longer need to worry about compliance with the obligations arising from the EU Whistleblower Directive or a nationally applicable Whistleblower Protection Act. We provide you with an all-round carefree package: We set up the so-called internal reporting channel for you and, together with our trained compliance experts, take over the receipt and classification of your cases according to small-scale verification schemes. We will only approach you if you need to take action yourself. Otherwise, you will not hear anything about whistleblowing. At regular intervals (usually once a year), we will inform you about everything you need to know about whistleblower protection. Whether it's overviews of the frequency and subject areas of your reports or the latest legal developments. We keep you up to date and take the burden off you so that you can focus on your core business.
konfidal supports companies of all sizes as well as social organisations and churches in implementing the requirements of whistleblower protection. In doing so, we can demonstrate special know-how, especially for SMEs as well as for religious communities and general charitable employers.
Our trained compliance experts examine each case very closely for validity and advise you on how to deal with allegations or named grievances. At the end of the process there is the legally required action report to the whistleblower. During the entire processing time, we maintain contact with the whistleblower and, if necessary, with you.
As a rule, we report to you once per calendar year. Should it be necessary, of course also at shorter intervals.
There is no blanket answer to this question because each case is as unique as the people who report it. However, in our experience, most cases can be brought to an end within a few weeks. However, if extensive internal investigations and legal proceedings become necessary, a case can drag on for many months. In order to provide you with maximum relief in such cases, we are happy to supply you with the appropriate legal experts for investigation and litigation from our broad network, if you wish.
We take on the task of sifting through reports and checking their validity. Unfortunately, we cannot carry out internal investigations for you. However, we will support you in this and, together with you, we will also derive the measures that will help to ensure that certain issues do not arise again. We also communicate these to the whistleblower on your behalf. Everything is done in close consultation. In the end, however, we cannot release you from the final duties of responsibility towards the whistleblower. However, we will work with you to ensure that you no longer have to worry about impending penalties or damage to your image as a result of whistleblowing. Thanks to our broad network of lawyers, we can also support you if a whistleblower case should turn into a legal case.
